Online, printed, and video media communication. Some of my projects are multi-faceted, including a website, e-mail solicitation, print design, direct mail design, and branding. I also dabble in media production with a special emphasis on Internet viral distribution of video and corresponding message.

Business.

The Internet isn't just a PR tool. Follow up or solicit with customers with sleek HTML graphics emails (example 1 | example2); sell goods directly through your website by accepting credit card payments or bank account transfers; compile feedback from visitors and maximize sell success rate; receive donations and gifts; and create interactive Flash shopping carts. All the while, you can track where each visitor to your website comes from, how long they stay, which pages they visit, on which page a person is most likely to leave the website, which search engine terms they used to find your website, and more. This live data allows companies to hone the content of their website to make it more compelling and increase the likelihood of a successful sale.

Beyond e-commerce, it's critical to have a professional design and online presence that reinforces the credibility of your business. Plus, it's cheap to get a good website---you can stuff in tons of content that you'd never be able to ordinarily disseminate in a mailer, on the radio, or on television, thus allowing you to target niche markets better and maximize revenue. Customers have varied tastes of specific needs. It's easiest to showcase your product unfettered from the limitations of space, time, and cost.

Politics.

My primary focus is online political action. I’ve created websites that engage Democrats by building online communities that allow activists to share ideas and make their voices heard. That means:

- blogging (cap | live example)
- action alerts (cap | live example)
- e-mail distribution (cap | live example)
- special features (cap | live example)
- accepting online contributions (cap | live example)
- exclusive streaming Flash video (cap | live example)
- tell-a-friend tools (cap | live example)
- forms to register to vote (cap | live example)
- send letters to the editor (cap | live example)

The first project of any magnitude that I worked on was the Howard County Democratic Party’s website. Its sharp design and interactive tools set it well above any other county party website in the state. Very quickly state organizations began contacting me to upgrade their websites as well. I signed up with the Indiana Young Democrats and then the Indiana Senate Democratic Caucus. Now I'm working on two House races---Ron Herrell in Kokomo, and Terri Austin in Anderson---as well as for Jon Zeck, a candidate for Sheriff.

I've produced online videos like "Wrong for Kokomo" (download), "A Million" (download | live site), "The Ron Herrell Story" (download | live site), and the trailer for "Words of Sedition", a film I produced last year (download trailer 1 | download trailer 2).

My print work includes such things as flyers for the Howard County Young Democrats (view flyer), a walk piece for the Herrell Campaign (front | back), fundraiser invitations (view), and brochures (inside | outside).
